Gavin leads IGD's food-to-go programme and has been instrumental in building IGD's knowledge and expertise in this area. He also leads IGD's retail safari programme in Europe. Prior to this he managed Retail Analysis, IGD's global online grocery retail insight service that covers almost 400 retailers worldwide as well as markets, channels and trends. Gavin closely tracks major trends and strategies, across food-to-go, retail and the increasingly blurring ground in between the two. As well as developing insight reports covering food-to-go market evolution for IGD's Retail Analysis service, he also works with clients on a customised basis to help them unlock their growth potential in the food-to-go and retail market, including leading many of them “on safari” around London and other European cities.

Tormod Lier started his career in NorgesGruppen in 2005 with responsibility for developing the food and drink concept Fresh, a cooperation between Shell and NorgesGruppen. He served as CEO for Fresh until 2013, when he also became the CEO for Deli de Luca Norway AS and its subsidiaries combining this role for a period of time. In 2015 NorgesGruppen ASA and ESSO Norway AS reached an alliance agreement for operating rights and operational support for 250 ESSO stores across Norway. Tormod Lier then became CEO for both Deli de Luca Norway AS and the 250 ESSO stores from the ESSO subsidiary Tiger AS. The growth of Deli de Luca over the past few years has been fantastic, going from a smaller c-store and delicatessen chain primarily located in the big cities to a country wide concept spanning both city stores and Esso forecourts across Norway. Under his management Deli de Luca Norway AS and Tiger AS has become one of NorgesGruppen’s strategic investments for the future and sure to put convenience retailing on the map in Norway’s largest trading enterprise. Deli de Luca have recently been a finalist in NACS International Convenience Retailer of the year and have also been highlighted Retail & Food To Go Fusion Favorite by IGD.

Noel Smith is founder and Managing Director of the award winning Fresh the Good Food Market. He has over 25 years’ experience as an independent retailer. In 1990 Noel opened his own newsagents in Clondalkin, Co Dublin. A year or so later he won a public tender to open a newsagents/delicatessen at the train station in Dublin’s Tara Street. Over the next few years he then purchased the lease to the retail outlet at Pearse Street train station and a third convenience store on George’s Quay in 1998. In 2006 Noel established Fresh the Good Food Market in Dublin’s Smithfield and subsequently Grand Canal Square in 2007. A third store was opened late 2007 in Camden St, with IFSC and Stepaside following in 2014 and 2016. The company currently employs over 300 staff. Fresh The Good Food Market is a high quality grocery and delicatessen supermarket group with a distinct product range from around the country and internationally. Their mission is to provide customers with a combination of fresh, quality and authentic food for now and take-home grocery as well as a range of premium wines and craft beers from around the world.

Born in Cork, Martin has held previous roles in Gestetner and KPMG, where he qualified as a chartered accountant. Martin Kelleher joined Musgrave in 1996 and was appointed Managing Director of Musgrave Retail Partners Ireland in October 2010. Prior to his current role Martin held the position of Managing Director of Musgrave Wholesale Partners. Within Musgrave Retail Partners Ireland, Martin has previously served as Consumer Insights Director and Sales Director for both Centra and SuperValu brands, as well as holding roles in trading and finance. Martin has led the strategic development of both SuperValu and Centra brands to become leaders in the markets they operate. SuperValu's differentiation strategy through “Real Food. Real People”, has seen the brand emerge stronger through the recession, to become the best Irish quality retailer. With the Centra brand, Martin has repositioned Centra, by redefining convenience with a new healthy and innovative offering. This includes the creation of new food service brands such as Frank & Honest Coffee, Moo'd Ice-cream and Caramico pizza. Martin's visionary leadership for both brands, will ensure their continued success, but will also make our communities better and healthier places to live.

Prior to joining Bord Bia, Maureen worked overseas in Paris and Stockholm.

Prior to joining Crussh Shane was Managing Director of Benugo where he worked for 12 years and held various senior roles.
